Structural Cutting

Kranendonk Profile Cutter

Recently, we added a Kranendonk Robot Profile Cutter to the Cutting Edge Metal Processing facility. We can burn with plasma or oxy-fuel. The robot can cut flatbar, bulbflat, angel, channel, I-beam, and T-Beam. While the robot is making the cut it can cut out the holes in structural member (intermediate cut), perform endcuts, and the inkjet marker labels material with part number. This state of the art assembly line is fully automated and automatic from the infeed through the outfeed system.

185-ton GEKA Ironworker

This machine is capable of cutting angle up to 8” x 8” x ¾”, punching a 1-9/16” hole in a piece of 1-1/4”  MS plate, and cutting round and square bar up to 2-7/8” across. It is also the only ironworker in the U.S. currently known to cut European Bulb Flat. Special copes and snipe that cannot be cut by the GEKA are moved forward to a burning table and cut with a Plasma or oxy fuel hand torch.
